The March Foreward Continues!

Well,

I have not posted until now as we have been buried, in every sense of the word, in code. It always seems that no matter how many steps forward you take, there are at least as many new issues that crop up!
Remember the old saying "I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel", only to find it was a train and you were um, err,,,,,, Well, you know!
After what has seemed an eternity, struggling with the most mundane of platform issues, the big ones have started to fall into place and boy does it feel good!

On Monday last, we deployed an integrated voice platform on the VWET grid. What a rush, oh and yes it works! Coupled in a single download with the viewers, fully parcel able, talk button functionality, dot, green bars, the whole she bang!!!
What has amazed us most to this point is the clarity. While certain not to be mentioned platforms have watched their quality plummet in the past year, we unfortunately had just gotten used to it. I had forgotten what it was like to not have to say "Huh" a hundred times a day. While we still have much testing to do, But, the first numbers coming back are extremely promising, and I will of course be keeping you up on the testing phase. We at VWET understand all to well the need for a stable OS voice platform that can be easily deployed.

We are also in the process of deploying a complete front end suite that will allow for easy account creation and complete security and monitoring as we are a closed platform. Not having an easily accessible account creation avenue has been extremely difficult for us, and again, another major crossroads for this week.

We are headed for a quality stable educational environment that allows educators to do what they do best,, Teach. Look for an announcement in the very near future that will allow educators that are considering their options for distance education, to explore for the amazing price of ???? Ha, you thought I was going to give it away, while I am not worth a dang at keeping secrets, this one is going to have to wait just a bit. All I will say is if you reach in your pocket and come out with nothing but lint, you might just have enough.

Hmmmm, now that I reread that, it kind of gives it away. Well anyway, look for the announcement sooner than later

Thanks for reading, oh and if you are an educator, with ideas on what you would like to see in an EDU VR environment, hit my email with your ideas, johnf@vwet.org. We are building this for educators, so your input is not important, it is critical!
